On Monday, 2 and Tuesday, June 3rd, a European delegation held a transnational meeting at Group IGS (Lyon, France). The topic of this meeting was “sustainable development in European Higher Educational institutions and employers’ organizations”. In the first eco-responsible Campus in the Rhône-Alpes region in France where IGS is based, the participants exchanged on the economic and sociological differences as well as the behaviour and interest of the European learners in sustainable development. Are European students involved in this topic, do they feel they have a role to play? Do the academic curriculum the students follow include anti-corruption policy, sustainable development? Why in France and in most French companies some of these subjects are considered as taboos? The delegation also participated in a guided visit of the campus to understand better the functioning of the building and its sustainable responsibility and role. The main project of the consortium is to set up a thematized serious game around the sustainable development to involve the students and European companies. Every country will set up this game in partnership with their universities and present it to local companies. I myself do not remember that sustainable development takes a large place in my academic curriculum, that is why I found the meeting very valuable and interesting from a learners point of view.I can't wait to discover the result and the outcomes.Loriane Albrieux 2nd year student at ISCPA- IGS LYONSchool of communication, production, journalism and Media.
